This lake is a paradox. Incerdibly beautifull with pure spring fed water bubbling up from the depths of the Canadian shield surronded by the rough wilderness of west Quebec. The lake features some of the best Small mouth Bass fishing I've ever seen. However as with everything in life the good comes with the bad. The lake is close to the city so some landowners in the region are apt to bring lawnmowers tractors power tools and city like determination to turn the wilderness into the suburbs. Fortunately Mother nature has made some effective roadblocks, a wicked geography of steep rock hill, a water table that bubbles up to the surface, vicious blackfly's and mosquito's. Never the less if you can fight your way past all the bad your left with the good. This was the case for Megastir and the angler formerly known as Cowboy in early May undetered by the bugs the two anglers fortified with the necessery supplies headed onto the lake in search of Bass. They were not dissapointed. Megastir hit first fighting a angry smallmouth into the boat using a trust Red Devil.

The Angler formerly known as Cowboy (TAFKAC), using his finely honed but mysterious techniques was able to soon hit onto an even bigger Smallie using some sort of floating lure that he claimed drew the fish from deep under water and created such a disturbing site that the poor beasts were forced to attack the bait with a savage fury reserved only for their most hated enemies of the deep. None the less the results speak for themselves as (TAFKAC) fought this one into camera range.
